Legal Standard disclaimer

Important legal disclaimer.

JusticeX is a Software-as-a-Service platform that provides objective, symmetric comparison only. It is not a law firm, mediation provider, or arbitration service; it does not provide legal advice or render legal opinions, and the parties reach their own resolution.

Nature of the platform

JusticeX provides software that facilitates end-to-end dispute-resolution workflows, including case organization, document handling, secure communication, scheduling, and access to artificial-intelligence (AI) features and publicly available legal materials. Where the platform surfaces statutes, regulations, case law, or other legal precedent, it does so to help the user and their counsel locate publicly available reference points — without using, interpreting, applying, recommending, or offering any opinion as to outcome. Public legal materials are provided for reference only, may be incomplete or superseded, and the law changes over time.

JusticeX does not practice law, provide legal advice, render legal opinions, represent parties before any court, agency, or tribunal, or act as an advocate, counselor, mediator, or arbitrator. No attorney-client, mediator-party, or fiduciary relationship is created by accessing or using the platform.

Unauthorized practice of law

JusticeX does not act as your attorney, lawyer, counsel, or legal representative, and does not engage in the practice of law. It does not represent any party before any court, agency, arbitrator, or tribunal; does not select, recommend, draft, or advise on legal strategy, arguments, claims, or defenses; does not apply law to your facts; does not argue or assess the legal merits of any position or score how legally strong a position is; and does not exercise the professional legal judgment a licensed attorney provides. Using JusticeX does not create an attorney-client relationship, and no communication with or through the platform is privileged unless an independently retained attorney establishes that privilege. Only a lawyer licensed in your jurisdiction can advise you on your legal rights and obligations.

AI-assisted output

AI features available on or through the platform may summarize materials, identify themes, and produce structured, objective feedback on the completeness and internal consistency of a submitted position, and a symmetric factual comparison of the parties' own inputs. JusticeX does not score the legal merit or legal strength of a position, argue or assess the legal merits, or apply legal authority to your facts. AI output is generated by automated systems, may contain errors, omissions, or fabricated content ("hallucinations"), and does not constitute legal advice, a legal opinion, or any prediction of how a court, agency, mediator, or arbitrator may rule. All AI-assisted output must be independently reviewed and validated by the user and, where appropriate, by a licensed attorney or qualified neutral, before it is relied upon for any purpose.

Calculations, models, and your circumstances

JusticeX is software. Like any software — and like any financial model, formula, or calculation — its outputs can contain mathematical, model, or logical errors and can rest on assumptions that do not hold in a given matter. Figures, comparisons, scores, valuations, net-of-tax and present-value calculations, projections, and any other quantitative output are estimates derived from the information entered and from general methods; they are not verified results. Every matter is different: a model, formula, assumption, or method appropriate for one user, dispute, or jurisdiction may be inappropriate for another, and JusticeX does not determine whether a given calculation or approach fits your facts, your jurisdiction, or your objectives. Each user must independently review, test, correct, and update every output before relying on it, sending it, or filing it, and assumes full responsibility for any output the user adopts or acts upon.

Information you provide

The platform's comparisons, scores, and other outputs are derived entirely from the information each party submits. JusticeX does not independently verify the truthfulness, accuracy, completeness, or authorization of any submission, and any evidence-quality or consistency signal reflects objective indicators only — it is not a finding of truth, credibility, or intent. Outputs are only as reliable as the information entered.

Responsible-AI & UPL standard

JusticeX builds its unauthorized-practice-of-law and responsible-AI safeguards to be consistent with the guardrail model established for AI in the legal sector, including Anthropic's Claude for Legal: every AI output is treated as a draft for attorney review — not legal advice or a legal conclusion; legal citations carry source attribution, and any reference not verified against an authoritative source is flagged rather than presented as settled; explicit gates sit before anything is filed, sent, or relied upon; the platform applies conservative defaults on privilege and on subjective legal calls; and jurisdiction assumptions are surfaced. JusticeX applies these standards, on a going-forward basis, to every feature and disclosure.

It is further JusticeX's policy to use Claude and any third-party connectors or partner tools in compliance with Anthropic's applicable Usage Policy — including its high-risk-use requirements for legal services, namely human oversight and disclosure of AI use — and with the terms of those third-party providers, now and on a continuing basis. This reflects a shared standard of care and a commitment to comply with the governing policies; it is not a partnership with, sponsorship by, endorsement by, or certification from Anthropic or any AI provider.

No legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice; no mediation services

Nothing on the platform — including AI output, templates, checklists, sample language, summaries of authority, or workflow guidance — is legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. JusticeX does not itself provide mediation, arbitration, conciliation, or any other dispute-resolution service. JusticeX is also not an accounting or tax firm and does not act as your CPA, accountant, or financial or tax advisor; for tax, accounting, valuation, or financial decisions — including the financial-modeling steps — you may identify and assign your own financial or tax professional (a CPA is not required), whose review and conclusions are their own professional work. Users requiring legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice, or professional dispute-resolution services, should retain a licensed attorney, financial/tax professional, or qualified neutral in their jurisdiction.

Role of mediators and attorneys

Licensed mediators, attorneys, and other qualified professionals who use JusticeX do so as independent professionals operating under their own licenses, professional rules, malpractice coverage, and engagement terms with their clients. JusticeX does not employ, supervise, direct the professional judgment of, or assume responsibility for the services provided by any mediator, attorney, or other professional who uses, is listed on, or is referenced through the platform. Any such professional is an independent third party and not an agent, employee, partner, or joint venturer of JusticeX. Where the platform displays a professional's fees, those figures are published by that professional as their own estimates (not binding quotes unless the professional marks them fixed); JusticeX does not set, negotiate, derive, or mark up any fee, takes no share contingent on a quote or on a client retaining a professional, and does not negotiate fees or engagement terms on any user's behalf. Users should confirm scope and price directly with the professional.

No warranties; no guaranteed result

JusticeX is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. JusticeX does not warrant that any output is correct or complete and does not guarantee any settlement, agreement, or other outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is limited as set out in the JusticeX Terms of Service.

Data and confidentiality

JusticeX employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect user data; no system, however, can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for evaluating the sensitivity of information they upload or transmit and for complying with their own confidentiality, privilege, and regulatory obligations. Use of the platform is governed by the JusticeX Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Jurisdiction

Laws governing legal practice, mediation, AI-assisted services, data protection, and consumer protection vary by jurisdiction. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of JusticeX complies with the laws applicable to them.

Severability

If any provision of this disclaimer is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction — whether under applicable law or otherwise — that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and all remaining provisions of this disclaimer, and of the related Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, will remain in full force and effect.

Acknowledgement

By accessing or using JusticeX, the user acknowledges and agrees to this disclaimer. Counsel should review and ratify the final language before publication.
